I am a Sports Performance Analyst for the Baltimore Orioles and have served as the Director of Sports Science at the Performance Ranch in Albuquerque, NM. I test, analyze, and program for the specific requirements that athletes need in order to perform at their peak. I have worked with multiple top-ranked UFC athletes, MLB players, and PGA Tour golfers. I have also consulted for supplement companies and other professional sports teams.
Sports Performance, Fitness, and Training are my life. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science, a Master's of Science in Exercise Science, and a PhD in Health, Exercise, and Sports Sciences from the University of New Mexico. I have published original research, written articles in magazines, given presentations at local and regional conferences, and have taught college courses at the University of New Mexico.
We're not just "researched based," we actually DO research. My research emphasis is on resistance training, muscle hypertrophy, and nutrition/supplements. Whether its how to make an athlete perform better, or how exercise is necessary for every day health, I love asking questions that need answers.
I have been a personal trainer since 2012 and have been coaching athletes since 2016. I was the Head Strength Coach for the Mississippi State University Competitive Spirit Squads, and have been coaching amateur and professional athletes since leaving MSU. I have coached a range of professional athletes: World Championship MMA fighters, MLB athletes, professional golfers, and NFL athletes.
